Stay in our recently renovated 1829 Carriage House at Canemount Plantation Inn featuring 6 bed and breakfast suites with modern amenities. Steeped in history, there are many locations on our property to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The wrap around gallery porch on the Main House (c 1855) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the surrounding grounds are sure to attract the photographer’s eye. Available for tours, it is the finest example of Italianate Revival Architecture in the county.
The Pond Cottage, half of the original Dog Trot style residence that was built prior to the larger Main House, and Ben’s Cabin adjacent to the Carriage House (both circa 1820) will be renovated in the future.
The Pool House is currently under renovation would have been at one time the kitchen and root cellar. The Event Center is a converted dairy barn that has a huge double-sided stone fireplace as its focal point. This area is available for meetings, scrapbooking, family reunions and receptions.
